1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and LimeVPN ("LimeVPN", "we", "our", "us") governing your access to and use of the LimeVPN virtual private network service, website, applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or completing a subscription purchase, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws.

2. Service Description

LimeVPN provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet connection and routes it through our servers, masking your IP address and protecting your data from surveillance and interception. The Service includes:

Encrypted VPN tunnel using WireGuard, OpenVPN, or IKEv2/IPSec protocols
Access to servers in 30+ countries worldwide
Client applications for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and router configurations
DNS leak protection, kill switch, and IPv6 leak protection
Customer support via email and live chat

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must register for an account by providing a valid email address and creating a password. You agree to:

Provide accurate and current registration information
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
Promptly notify us at [email protected] of any unauthorized access to your account
Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Not share your account credentials with third parties
Not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse refund policies

Your account is for personal use only. Commercial resale or redistribution of the Service without our written authorization is prohibited.

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription plans

The Service is available on a subscription basis. Current pricing and plan options are listed on our Pricing page. Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated and do not include applicable taxes.

4.2 Billing and auto-renewal

Subscription fees are charged in advance for the billing period selected. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current rate. We will send you a renewal reminder by email before your subscription renews.

4.3 Price changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will notify you of price changes at least 7 days in advance via email. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

4.4 Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and levies imposed by your jurisdiction. If we are required to collect taxes, they will be added to your subscription fee.

4.5 Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you by email. If payment is not received within 14 days of the renewal date, your access to the Service may be suspended until payment is received.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

The Service is provided for lawful privacy and security purposes. You agree to use the Service only for lawful activities. The following uses are strictly prohibited:

6.1 Illegal activities

Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or accounts (hacking)
Distribution of malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious software
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving the exploitation of minors
Trafficking in persons, illegal weapons, or controlled substances
Fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes

6.2 Network abuse

Conducting or participating in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or probing external systems without authorization
Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating spam infrastructure
Deliberate disruption of network services or other users' use of the Service

6.3 Intellectual property violations

Infringing on copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights
Operating piracy services or distributing copyright-protected material without authorization

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy without refund. We cooperate with law enforcement when legally required to do so.

7. DMCA and Copyright

LimeVPN respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, please note the following:

Because we do not log which users were assigned which IP addresses at any given time, DMCA subpoenas requesting identification of users by IP address cannot be fulfilled — we do not possess this information. We are unable to identify which specific user (if any) was using a given IP address at a given time.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to:

Modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service with reasonable notice
Perform scheduled maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
Restrict or suspend access during service emergencies or security incidents

We will provide advance notice of significant changes where feasible. Planned maintenance windows will be announced on our status page.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and all associated software, documentation, trademarks, logos, and content are the exclusive property of LimeVPN or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) any defects will be corrected; (c) the Service is free from viruses or harmful components; (d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

VPN services provide significant but not absolute protection. No technology can guarantee 100% anonymity under all circumstances. You are responsible for evaluating whether the Service meets your specific security and privacy needs.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LIMEVPN, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LimeVPN and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or third-party rights; or (c) any content or activity conducted through your account.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by you

You may cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings or contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of the period you have paid for. No refund is provided for unused portions of a billing period unless eligible under our 14-day money-back guarantee.

13.2 Termination by us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we reasonably determine that you have violated these Terms, particularly Section 6 (Acceptable Use Policy). In cases of serious violations (illegal activity, fraud), no refund will be issued.

We may also terminate the Service or your account upon 7 days' notice for any other reason. In this case, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.

13.3 Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), 15 (Governing Law), and 16 (Dispute Resolution) survive termination.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (to your registered address) at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

LimeVPN is incorporated in Singapore, which is not a member of the Five Eyes, Nine Eyes, or Fourteen Eyes intelligence-sharing alliances. Singapore has strong data protection legislation under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2012, which governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.

16. Dispute Resolution

Before bringing a formal legal claim, we encourage you to contact us first to try to resolve any disputes informally. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team at [email protected].

EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

17. Renewal Notifications

We will send a renewal reminder by email at least 7 days before your subscription automatically renews. The reminder will include the renewal date, amount, and instructions for cancelling if you do not wish to renew.

It is your responsibility to ensure your email address on file is current. We are not liable for renewal charges if you did not receive the reminder due to an outdated email address, spam filters, or other issues outside our control.

18. Warrant Canary

As of the date of this Terms of Service update, LimeVPN has:

Never received a National Security Letter or gag order
Never received a court order requiring disclosure of user data
Never been required to install any backdoor or monitoring capability
Never been required to modify our systems to allow access by any third party
Never provided any user's VPN session data, browsing activity, or connection logs to any government or law enforcement agency

If any of these statements change, this section will be removed or updated accordingly. The continued presence of this warrant canary serves as an affirmative statement that no such events have occurred. This warrant canary is updated with each revision of these Terms of Service.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LimeVPN regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreements.
