1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and LimeVPN ("LimeVPN", "we", "our", "us") governing your access to and use of the LimeVPN virtual private network service, website, applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or completing a subscription purchase, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. You further represent and warrant that you are not a person barred from using the Service under the laws of Singapore or any other applicable jurisdiction.

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy.

2. Service Description

LimeVPN provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet connection and routes it through our servers, masking your IP address and protecting your data from surveillance and interception. The Service includes:

Encrypted VPN tunnel using WireGuard, OpenVPN, or IKEv2/IPSec protocols
Access to servers in 30+ countries worldwide
Client applications for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and router configurations
DNS leak protection, kill switch, and IPv6 leak protection
Customer support via email and live chat

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must register for an account by providing a valid email address and creating a password. You agree to:

Provide accurate and current registration information
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
Promptly notify us at [email protected] of any unauthorized access to your account
Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Not share your account credentials with third parties
Not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse refund policies
Not use the Service through any automated means (bots, scripts, crawlers) except as expressly authorized by LimeVPN

Your account is for personal use only. Commercial resale or redistribution of the Service without our written authorization is prohibited.

We reserve the right to refuse registration, or to revoke accounts, at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide a reason.

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription plans

The Service is available on a subscription basis. Current pricing and plan options are listed on our Pricing page. Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated and do not include applicable taxes.

4.2 Billing and auto-renewal

Subscription fees are charged in advance for the billing period selected. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current rate. We will send you a renewal reminder by email before your subscription renews.

4.3 Price changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will notify you of price changes at least 14 days in advance via email. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

4.4 Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and levies imposed by your jurisdiction. If we are required to collect taxes, they will be added to your subscription fee.

4.5 Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you by email. If payment is not received within 14 days of the renewal date, your access to the Service may be suspended until payment is received.

5. Refund Policy

6. Acceptable Use Policy

LimeVPN is a privacy tool, not a shield for unlawful conduct. The Service is provided exclusively for lawful privacy and security purposes. Any use of the Service for illegal purposes is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without refund. LimeVPN will cooperate with law enforcement authorities acting under valid legal process.

6.1 Illegal activities

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or accounts (hacking)
Distribution of malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious software
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving the exploitation of minors
Trafficking in persons, illegal weapons, or controlled substances
Fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
Terrorism, terrorist financing, or promoting violence
Money laundering or circumvention of financial sanctions
Stalking, harassment, or threats of violence
Any activity that would violate Singapore law, including the Computer Misuse Act (Cap 50A)

6.2 Network abuse

Conducting or participating in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or probing external systems without authorization
Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating spam infrastructure
Deliberate disruption of network services or other users' use of the Service
Operating or facilitating botnets
Cryptocurrency mining using LimeVPN infrastructure
Excessive bandwidth consumption that degrades service quality for other users

6.3 Intellectual property violations

Infringing on copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights
Operating piracy services or distributing copyright-protected material without authorization

6.4 Enforcement

We monitor for patterns of abuse at the network level (without inspecting traffic content). Upon detection of suspected violations, we may: (a) suspend your account pending investigation; (b) terminate your account immediately without refund; (c) report the activity to relevant authorities as required or permitted by law. We are not required to provide notice before taking enforcement action for serious violations.

7. Copyright and Intellectual Property Claims

LimeVPN respects intellectual property rights. We will respond to valid DMCA takedown notices and equivalent copyright infringement claims under applicable law.

Due to our minimal-logging architecture, we may have limited data available in response to such requests. Where we are able to identify an account associated with alleged infringement, we may issue warnings, suspend, or terminate the account in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to:

Modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service with reasonable notice
Perform scheduled maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
Restrict or suspend access during service emergencies or security incidents

We will provide advance notice of significant changes where feasible. Planned maintenance windows will be announced on our status page.

8.1 Force majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, pandemic, power failures, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or actions of third-party service providers ("Force Majeure Event"). During a Force Majeure Event, our obligations under these Terms are suspended for the duration of the event.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and all associated software, documentation, trademarks, logos, and content are the exclusive property of LimeVPN or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) any defects will be corrected; (c) the Service is free from viruses or harmful components; (d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

VPN services provide significant but not absolute protection. No technology can guarantee 100% anonymity under all circumstances. You are responsible for evaluating whether the Service meets your specific security and privacy needs.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LIMEVPN, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO LIMEVPN FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT LIMEVPN HAS SET ITS PRICES AND ENTERED INTO THESE TERMS IN RELIANCE UPON THE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SET FORTH HEREIN, WHICH ALLOCATE THE RISK BETWEEN YOU AND LIMEVPN AND FORM A BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN THE PARTIES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LimeVPN and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or third-party rights; (c) any content or activity conducted through your account; or (d) your use of the Service in connection with any illegal activity.

This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and these Terms. LimeVPN reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by you

You may cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings or contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of the period you have paid for. No refund is provided for unused portions of a billing period unless eligible under our 7-day money-back guarantee.

13.2 Termination by us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we reasonably determine that you have violated these Terms, particularly Section 6 (Acceptable Use Policy). In cases of serious violations (illegal activity, fraud), no refund will be issued.

We may also suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, upon seven (7) days' written notice to your registered email address. In this case, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.

13.3 Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), 14 (Governing Law), and 15 (Dispute Resolution) survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

LimeVPN is incorporated in Singapore and subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), as amended. We comply with the PDPA's obligations regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and care of personal data. Users may exercise their data protection rights under the PDPA by contacting [email protected]. The Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Singapore is the relevant supervisory authority.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.

15. Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration

15.1 Informal resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute proceeding, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.

15.2 Binding arbitration

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and LimeVPN agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under the SIAC Rules in effect at the time. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, in Singapore. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15.3 Class action waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND LIMEVPN EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION, OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING OF ANY KIND IN ANY FORUM. YOU AGREE THAT YOU MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST LIMEVPN ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

15.4 Exceptions

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property rights. Claims within the jurisdiction of small claims court in Singapore may also be brought in such court.

15.5 EU residents

EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (to your registered address) at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

17. Renewal Notifications

We will send a renewal reminder by email at least 7 days before your subscription automatically renews. The reminder will include the renewal date, amount, and instructions for cancelling if you do not wish to renew.

It is your responsibility to ensure your email address on file is current. We are not liable for renewal charges if you did not receive the reminder due to an outdated email address, spam filters, or other issues outside our control.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LimeVPN regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreements.

No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
